To better demonstrate the video quality, the screenshots are close-ups that only show a small area of the screen. Some of the thumbnails show a pattern of vertical stripes, but this is just the shadow mask of the CRT (e.g., the separation between the TV's individual pixels).

The mod fits under the RF shielding with no extra modification required.
A full view of the modded system. I've also replaced the 7805 voltage
regulator with a Traco TSR 1-2450, which generates no noticeable heat and
outputs a voltage closer to 5.00V.
